INIT, a collective of young musicians which was formed in late 2016, will perform as part of the Foyer Sessions at the Masque Theatre on Sunday July 16, at 6.30pm.The band members are currently students at the South African College of Music at the University of Cape Town. Their focus is to highlight the musical history of Southern Africa with specific focus on jazz and the South African sound, in order to explore and develop it for themselves.
