The Magic Shell is interactive storytelling theatre for young children and their families which will run at the Masque Theatre from Monday December 18 to Friday December 22, at 11am. It illustrates the value of African culture, wild life conservation, inspires reading and builds creative arts skills. The Magic Shell is based on an African folktale and set in ancient times on the Wild Coast. The story follows a mother on her adventure to find stories to tell her children. The story comes to life in English and Xhosa with original songs and innovative masks. Tickets cost R80 each.
