Platinum-selling singer and songwriter Tevin Campbell will perform at GrandWest on Friday July 22.
Fans can expect to hear many of Campbell’s popular hits as well as new material such as his latest single, Safer, released earlier this year. During his career, Campbell has been mentored by some of the world’s legendary artists including Quincy Jones and Prince. He has also worked with some of the industry’s top writers and producers including Babyface, Al B. Sure, Narada Michael Walden, Wyclef and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In the summer of 1991, he featured on the soundtrack to Boyz in the Hood singing Just Ask Me To, which went on to become a Top 10 R&B hit. All of this set the stage for his debut album, 1991s T.E.V.I.N., which went platinum and included two R&B chart toppers, Tell Me What You Want Me to Do and Alone with You, as well as the R&B top five hit Goodbye.
