60th anniversary

Margie and Pat Schluter celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Wednesday September 14, having been married in the Congregational Church in Sea Point in 1957. They started dating when they were teenagers growing up in the Fresnaye and Camps Bay areas. After several business moves to Johannesburg, they finally settled in Meadowridge in 1973 and their three sons Neil, Wayne and Glenn attended Wynberg Boys’ High School. Ten years ago they moved to Cle du Cap in Tokai. Pat has always been involved in sport, particularly hockey when younger, but is now a member of the Constantia Bowling Club. Both Margie and Pat are active members of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Meadowridge where they have worshipped for many years. They have four grandchildren, Warren, Dale, Lloyd and Meghan-Shea. This milestone anniversary has been celebrated with family and close friends at various functions over the past week.
