Art for peace

Pictured, from left, are Gemma Petersen, 10, Isla Fisher, 9, and her sister Amelie, 6, all from Plumstead.

Artworks by hundreds of Capetonian pupils have added their voices to an international children’s call for peace. Their drawings, paintings and sketches form part of the International Children’s Art Collection, by Art with Heart Africa, on display at the Castle of Good Hope, which coincides with the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign. Their work is on show at the Foundry

section of the castle daily from 9am to 4pm until Monday December 10. FOUZIA VAN DER FORT captured the fun.
