Drug dealers arrested

Police arrested four suspected drug dealers and seized large quantities of drugs and an unlicensed
pistol in Southfield and
Plumstead on Monday April
22.

Police spokeswoman, Brigadier Novela Potelwa, said officers acting on a tip-off had arrested four men, allegedly found with ecstasy tablets, a gun and
cash.

At a property in Plumstead, officers arrested three men,
aged 33, 35 and 36, for possession of a pistol, ammunition,
370 ecstasy tablets and documents tracking illicit transactions.

As part of the same raid, in a second property in Gull Road, Southfield, officers arrested a 36-year-old man for possession and sale of drugs.

Items confiscated included
1 544 ecstasy tablets, a significant amount of dagga and more than R51 000 in cash.
