* The letter, “No joy with councillors”, from Peter Van Blerck (Bulletin February 15) was sent to Penny East, and she referred Mr van Blerck to the relevant ward councillor, Carol Bew. Ms East does remember missing an appointment with Mr Van Blerck as a result of a family emergency, but she had already informed him that this issue did not fall within her jurisdiction.
The letter was forwarded to Carol Bew on February 8, but she did not respond.The Bulletin apologises for the mistake.
* Last week we incorrectly quoted Ward 62 councillor Liz Brunette as saying that under Level 6B water restrictions, homeowners who have boreholes should only water their gardens twice a day (“Borehole restrictions to be taken seriously”, Bulletin, February 15). It should have read twice a week. Under the current water restrictions, should borehole or well point water be used for irrigation, it must be limited to a maximum of one hour only on Tuesdays and Saturdays before 9am or after 6pm. The Constantiaberg Bulletin apologises for the error.
