On the night of Sunday December 23 I was at Cape Animal Medical for an issue with my cat.
While I was waiting to chat to a nurse, a neighbourhood watch patroller and security guard came in with two dogs they had fished out of the canal in Southfield. I was so touched by their kindness and caring. I asked them to contact me and gave them my details.
I said that in today’s world where all we read about is the bad news, this was a happy one. And it was. The owner had been looking for them since Sunday December 16.
I was so happy it all ended well.
