Early morning joggers in Ladies Mile found a man lying in a field opposite the Engen garage on
Tuesday. He had been stabbed in the
back.
The man was taken to Victoria
Hospital in Wynberg,but died of
his injuries, said Kirstenhof police
spokeswoman Sergeant Deidre Solomon.
Kirstenhof detectives are investigating and are trying to identify the dead man.
He is of slender build and about 40 years old.
He was wearing a black peak cap, black-and-yellow sneakers and black jeans, with “P. Sampson” written on them in ink. There was no other identification on the victim.
