Emmanuel Educare Centre in Westlake received a donation of four new laptops with data projectors and software from the Silvertree Residential Estate Home Owners’ Association on Monday March 18.
The laptops will be used for lesson planning, sourcing educational materials and support for the curriculum.
“Our teachers are looking forward to some planned computer literacy. These skills will also help with them should they desire to pursue further education. This is a wonderful gesture from our near neighbour. We appreciate the sharing of resources,” said Pieter Greyling, the general manager of Westlake United Church Trust that oversees the creche..
