Lockdown art

Brian Long's painting.

Brian Long, 79, a resident of Princess Christian Home in Kirstenhof, has been churning out charcoal drawings during lockdown. Brian, who has Parkinson’s disease, started painting last year to keep his mind alert, and fellow resident, Neil Thomson, showed him the ropes. Brian has since produced a wide variety of work, which his wife, Dawn, says is filling up their flat.
