Male or female?

A student debating society was asked to define the sex of computers. The men were emphatic they were female. No one but their creator understood their internal logic.

The native language used to communicate with other computers was incomprehensible to everyone else. The smallest mistakes were stored in their long term memory for possible later retrieval. And as soon as you made a commitment to one, you found yourself spending half your salary on its accessories.

The women concluded computers were masculine. They did not react unless first turned on. They had a lot of data but still could not think for themselves.

They were supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they were the problem and as soon as you committed to one, you realised that if you had waited a little longer you could have acquired a better model. The women won.
