Mavis Kessler, who has lived in Southfield and Plumstead for the past 60 years, turned 90 on Saturday June 4 and celebrated this milestone with about 60 family members and friends who spoilt her and made her feel special.
Mavis has three children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and is a life member of Plumstead bowls club where she played for 40 years and has also had three terms as the club’s president.
