Police are looking for three men wanted in connection with the theft of an African grey parrot from a Plumstead home last week.
According to Diep River police spokesman Constable Zak Marais, the homeowner returned late on Thursday May 16 to find his driveway gate lifted from its rail and slightly open.
The African grey was missing from its cage on the front stoep.
CCTV footage from a neighbour’s property in Chudleigh Road caught three men riding a horse and cart in the street. They lifted the gate to get onto the property.
One of the men was dressed in blue pants, a blue top and a blue-and-white striped beanie. The camera footage shows the men leaving with the parrot.
