Off the rails

A motor coach derailed near Plumstead station at 10.43am yesterday Wednesday November 1. Metrorail spokesperson Riana Scott says no injuries were reported. Alternative arrangements included trains to Simon’s Town terminating at Wynberg; a bus service operating between Wynberg and Retreat; and a train service operating between Retreat and Simon’s Town. The expected delays during the assessment and recovery process was to be about an hour.
