Plumstead resident passes on

Rodney Leak, 68, a longtime resident of Plumstead, passed away suddenly at home on Monday February 19. He was the former chief executive officer of the Fairest Cape Association, which is dedicated to the “war on waste”. Rodney was deeply committed to fighting for the environment, was active in his community and his church, and was a regular contributor to the letters’ pages of the Bulletin. He is survived by his wife Jennifer and his daughter Bronwen. The funeral will be a Requiem Mass tomorrow on Friday March 2 at St Dominic’s Chapel, Springfield Convent School, Wynberg, at 10am.
