The police are asking the public to help trace two “people of interest” in connection with the killing of a Bulgarian fugitive and three other people at a plush Constantia home.
Krasimir Nikolaev Kamenov, 55, along with another man and two women, all Bulgarian nationals, were shot dead at the Evergreen Lane property in May last year (“Mafia-style killings stun Constantia,” Bulletin, June 1).
Six suspects were spotted fleeing the crime scene in a blue Hyundai and VW Golf GTI, according to a police statement.
“Later, two people were seen under a bridge on the N1 driving a white VW Passat and the same VW Golf GTI that was spotted from the scene. It is believed that these two can assist police with the investigation of the murders,” the statement says.
Police are appealing to anyone with information or who knows the whereabouts of the men depicted in the pictures to contact Lieutenant Colonel Dean Kiewiets from the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit at 082 3022 952 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
