Richard Saner’s death is a great loss to the community of Westlake, Westlake United Church Trust and surrounding areas. Many of our kids know him as more than just a resident. My brother, who is a pastor, Theo Mbesi, has worked with him extensively.
Three of my children have been at the Westlake prep school. When I told them about the passing of Mr Saner they were all shocked.I am sure the rest of the Westlake community do not know that Mr Saner is gone. I did not know Mr Saner well, but he was committed to his work, and he was an example to all of us.
I just want to say goodbye to him. I am sending this goodbye on behalf of my kids who knew him directly. I wish his family well.
