Safety officers share in some fun

A fun-filled day with a potjie competition, five-a-side mini soccer and safety demonstrations was held at Timour Hall Primary School on Saturday September 24. The community event was organised by Diep River SAPS, several community policing forums, neighbourhood watches and security services. The Wynberg Fire Department and Metro Dog Unit put on a show for the children to demonstrate essential safety tips. Ward councillors Carmen Siebritz and Emile Langenhoven were judges for the potjie competition.
