Bergvliet High School swimmers participated in the Sanlam Cape Mile on Sunday February 19. Six of their swimmers competed in the one-mile open event landing Nazario Stevens in eighth place. They also participated in the 500m fun race where many of the junior swimmers experienced open water swimming for the first time. The school won three prizes on the day earning it R14 000.
