Sensational sounds

There will be a performance of Grace Notes, at St John’s Church, Wynberg, today Thursday July 27, at 7.30pm, with chorus master and conductor, Marvin Kernelle. The show is an hour-long a cappella concert of 12 voices singing sacred compositions by Byrd, Palestrina, Duruflé and Pärt, juxtaposed with religious music drawn from Xhosa, Venda, Zulu and Swahili traditions.
