South Peninsula pupils jet off to Japan

South Peninsula High School (SPHS) Grade 11 pupils and teachers left for the International Anime Convention, in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan, yesterday, Thursday March 21. The convention takes place from Friday March 22 to Sunday March 24. “SPHS will be attending the convention on behalf of their anime society club,” said teacher Nasser Orgill, and “it will be our second visit to Japan.” He said the convention would be open to the public on Saturday March 23 and Sunday March 24 respectively.
