Ellen Fedele, Plumstead
Taxis stop with impunity right in front of the no stopping signs in the short distance from the traffic lights at Victoria Road bridge to the next set of lights at the Gabriel and Main Road intersection (where the bank and post office are in Plumstead). They cause chaos
for people in that lane trying to turn.
I have asked the council to put officers there for just a few hours to see how many dozens of times a day it happens.
These menaces on wheels do not care about passenger safety, road rules, traffic lights and think they are a law unto themselves. They are simply a disgrace.
When will the City of Cape Town start being extremely harsh on these people to show them
that they cannot get away with
their appalling attitude to our
laws?
