Storytelling at Kiddie Cove

City firefighter Elroy Blouws, pictured, and ward councillor Eddie Andrews told stories at the Plumstead and Diep River branches of the Kiddie Cove preschool on Wednesday February 23. The event was organised by Plumstead library staff, and the City libraries mascot, LiBee, joined in the fun. Mr Blouws told a story about the dangers of playing with fire. The children then took turns to give him a high-five while he pretended that his hand was on fire from the pain caused by their tiny hands.
