The Girl Guides and Rangers from Bergvliet, Bothasig and Portland in Mitchell’s Plain volunteered at the Cape Town Annual Sunflower Fund fun run and Cell C day of races. They worked incredibly hard by handing out medals to all the participants who finished the race. The event was in support of the Sunflower Fund, which helps to bring awareness through educating the public about the importance of registering people to join the South African Bone Marrow Registry.
