Plumstead Neighbour-hood Watch patrolled outside our gates during our picnic in the Garden, which took place on Sunday February 28.
We had notified them of the event and asked, when they patrolled the area, to be on the lookout for any problems.
Andrew, Andre, Neill and Mike spent most of the afternoon here, keeping things nice and safe for us.
I think they were also enjoying the music of Charlie Thomson and the BJ Brothers who played for the picnic. It is reassuring for Plumstead residents to have this dedicated team of people prepared to give of their time to help the community.
