Christmas seems a hazy memory already, and back to school leads the way.
In between the two, we at South African Riding for the Disabled (SARDA) rolled up our wrapping paper, stored our scissors and counted the cash.
Once again the support of our community and visitors too, enabled us to exceed previous records and raise over R21 000 for Sarda. Thank you.
From sexy sunnies and strawberry red suitcases to jolly giraffes and bundles of books we wrapped and ribboned them all, having huge fun in the process.
Without the generosity of the Constantia Village management and tenants, who supply everything we need, from sellotape to personalised ribbon – including willing customers – this important fund-raising project would not happen. Thank you, too, for welcoming us every year.
Fellow wrappers, you should be resting your wrists and spending time with those you left at home while you volunteered your time for Sarda.
Thank you for putting the “fun” into fundraising. I look forward to us all sharing laughs and elbow room in December 2019.
