The Lions Club of Bergvliet would like to thank the community for its ongoing support for the past Lions year, July 2015 to June 2016.
Did you know that the members performed 121 service activities during that period, spent 1 203 hours on these projects, raised almost R35 000 and donated funds and goods to the value of R112 500?
We put a monetary value onto all the items given to us by the public. Our monthly book sale is still our main source of income and we attribute its success to the generosity of the community who so willingly donate books to us. Of course we must also thank that same community who purchase books from us so regularly. Our club is now in it’s 48th year of service and we hope we can continue to support those in need.
