The Cape Flats Development Association (CAFDA) has opened its This ’n That Shop, at 277 Main Road, in Wynberg, opposite Langley Road.
The other three Cafda stores, in Sea Point, Claremont and Fish Hoek, are popular for their bargain books. This ’n That Shop, which was opened on Thursday November 2, will be selling second-hand goods at affordable prices and it is already a hit. From sewing patterns and appliances to clothing and toys, there are treasures for everyone.
Chairperson Mark Rossouw says CAFDA has been in existence since 1994, serving the Cape Flats community by providing a variety of services such as child and family support, a dance theatre, job creation projects, restorative support and creating educational and social opportunities.
In March the organisation moved its base from Retreat to Schaapkraal in Philippi. Store trading hours are from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm, on Saturdays. It is closed on Mondays and public holidays. For more information contactCAFDAattradingmanager@cafda.co.zaor076092 2480.
