The Health Department forced a lot of coffee shops and restaurants to be non-smoking areas.
But what is ridiculous and downright stupid at the shopping centres is that the open-air cafes and eating places are edging the car parking lot. No smoking permitted because my little cigarette will poison the air, but the exhaust fumes from hundreds of cars not? The government collects a lot of tax from the sale of cigarettes, so a little tolerance would be expected.
I hope you print my letter. I am not the only one unhappy and complaining.
