Vax Van rolls into Westlake

Westlake resident Kondai Bimha is confident the vaccine will increase his chances of keeping safe.

Vaccination against Covid-19 has been made easier for Westlake residents thanks to a mobile vaccination service.

The City’s Vax Van, was at the drill hall, at the Westlake United Church Trust, on Monday September 6.

It will be there again on Monday October 18 and Monday November 1, from 8.30am to 3pm. The public should take their original ID, a valid driver’s licence, a passport, or an affidavit and the SMS of their registration for the vaccine, if they have it, otherwise they will be registered on site.

All are welcome. For further information, contact nurse Nicci Woodbridge at 021 702 1697, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm.

To register for the vaccination, WhatsApp “register” to 0600 123 456, or SMS *134*832* and your ID number followed by #.

If you don’t have an ID number, dial *134*832#. You will be sent a notification through SMS with a unique code.
