Zip Zap Circus show
Catch The Greatest Little Circus Show at the Zip Zap Dome, Founders Green Garden, Jan Smuts Street, on Saturday October 5 at noon. The show promises aerial acts and a colourful collage of acrobatics performed by children of all ages. This is the final Zip Zap public performance of the year. Music scholarship
Applications for the 2020 intake of the Manhattan School of Music Hugh Masekela Scholarship are open until Sunday December 1. All applications should be submitted to the Manhattan School of Music at www.msmnyc.eduÂ
Six qualifying students will receive a scholarship over three years and attend an institution where a young Masekela studied for four years. The scholarship is aimed at young South African music talent who face social, cultural and economic challenges, and nonetheless have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing their craft. Charity dance
The Cape Kidney Association is hosting their annual charity dance on Friday October 18 at 7:30pm at the Wynberg civic centre.
