The Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts are back until Sunday April 2 next year with a line-up which has something for everyone.

Back by popular demand are Jimmy Nevis, Mango Groove, The Parlotones, Prime Circle, Mi Casa, The Soil, Cape Town Folk ‘n Acoustic Music Festival, Goldfish, The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, Zonke, Lira, Jeremy Loops, Dan Patlansky, The Soil and Just Jinjer.

There are some interesting duos in the mix, including the Parlotones’ Khan who will be on stage with Richard Stirton.

Richard was the 2016 winner of the Voice South Africa. Beatenberg and Opposite The Other share the stage as do Johnny Clegg and Slow Jack, Matthew Mole and Jesse Clegg, Karen Zoid and Francois van Coke, Shortstraw and Al Bairre, and sibling duo Bobby and Karlien van Jaarsveld.

Jah Prayzah and the 3rd Generation Band will be performing for the first time at the concerts on Sunday November 27.

Mukudzeyi Mukombe, who performs under the name Jah Prayzah, is a Zimbabwean contemporary musician and lead member for the band 3rd Generation.He is popularly referred to by fans as “Musoja”, the Shonaword for soldier, a name he earned mostly because of his signature band uniform of military regalia. Jah Prayzah and the 3rd Generation band have released seven albums. They have won numerous awards and have toured the continent over the past 10 years. They have just returned from an extensive Canadian and USA tour.
