Wynberg Girls’ High School alumni and mothers of current pupils spent their 67 minutes for Mandela Day sewing blanket squares and knitting for their Wool for Wonders project. The drive ends on Monday August 12, and knitters are urged to keep their fingers busy and hand in any beanies, baby jerseys, scarves, booties or blankets to the school. Hand-overs to various organisations are being done as batches come in.
