The Over 50s World Cup is currently being played at various venues across the city, including Claremont Cricket Club, Western Province Cricket Club, Green Point Cricket Club and Cape Town Cricket Club, as well as at the University of Stellenbosch and several high schools. Team SA beat India, Pakistan, Namibia and Wales but lost against England before taking on the UAE for a spot in semi-finals. The final will be played at Newlands Cricket Ground on Monday March 20.
The Constantiaberg Bulletin (formerly the Bergvliet Bulletin) was established in 1955 and re named Constantiaberg Bulletin in 1979. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Constantia Village and Blue Route Mall within its distribution area.
