False Bay RFC hosted Lagunya RFC in commemorative matches to mark the 40 year anniversary of the sides meeting in 1976. Although the senior invitational side beat Lagunya 59-10 and the under-20s won 55-15, both teams agreed that the end result was less important than the camaraderie encountered on the day.
The Constantiaberg Bulletin (formerly the Bergvliet Bulletin) was established in 1955 and re named Constantiaberg Bulletin in 1979. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Constantia Village and Blue Route Mall within its distribution area.
