If you’re planning to go big on the Christmas spirit this year, Constantia gardener Robert Sangano has just the thing for you.
The 30-year-old, who works in the garden of Leigh De Decker-Holloway, makes giant Yuletide wreaths that you can hang on your front door or display anywhere else that takes your fancy.
Mr Sangano picked up this skill after taking part in a floral workshop run by Dr De Decker-Holloway’s friend, Neva Ward.
To make the wreaths, he assembles fresh foliage, pine cones, red berries, ribbons and garden plants on a wire frame, using a glue gun.
Dr De Decker-Holloway is a big fan of his work and has been posting pictures of the wreaths on social media.
Mr Sangano sells his creations for R600, and he can be contacted at 063 623 6583.
