Don’t rack your brain on what to do with the children at home for the school holidays.
City of Cape Town libraries are offering a variety of activities from today, Monday October 3, for all ages including movies, outdoor and board games, robotic boot camps, face painting, puppet shows, crafts and storytelling, to keep children entertained.
“Holidays are often seen as missed opportunities to learn and grow and where children are potentially exposed to negative social behaviour,” said the City’s Mayoral committee member for community services and health, Patricia van der Ross.
“With our libraries’ holiday programmes, children can remain engaged in recreational and educational opportunities.”
