Under the baton of Richard Cock, the Proms-Lite orchestra will perform a concert, Under our African Sky, at Groot Constantia Wine Estate, on Wednesday and Thursday March 15 and 16, from 6pm..
The concert, held in aid of the Rotary Club of Wynberg, will feature two soloists, Timothy Moloi and Monde Msutwana.
For more than three decades, the Last Night of the Proms concerts were held at the Cape Town City Hall, but Covid-19’s lockdown restrictions silence them until March last year when the Wynberg Rotary Club launched the Proms-Lite open-air concerts at Groot Constantia Wine Estate.
The two-hour concert, with an interval, will accommodate up to 450 people on each night.
