A biker was robbed of his backpack at a traffic light on Prince George Drive near Hyde Road, in the early hours of the morning, last week.
Diep River police say, the biker was on his way home at about 2.45am on Thursday August 18.
As he slowed down at the traffic light four young men ran up to him.
“One pointed a firearm at him while the others grabbed him and ripped his backpack off which contained his iPhone wallet and other personal items,” Warrant Officer Keith Chandler of Diep River police said.
The motorcyclist managed to pull away from the men and drove to Victoria Road where he got hold of a security company.
Police went to the scene to investigate and when the four men saw the van, they ran towards Parkwood.
The officers gave chase and caught two of the men and retrieved the stolen iPhone.
