In these trying times, the elderly are seemingly in the forefront of the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular, folks in the Western Cape are feeling left out.
We at the South African Association of Retired Persons (SAARP) would like to reassure all our members (and potential members) that they are not forgotten. We are constantly thinking of them and look forward to the day when we can reopen our club doors and welcome them back.
Meanwhile , for those who celebrated a birthday during the lockdown, and especially those who celebrated a special birthday, we wish you everything of the best and hope you enjoyed it to the best of your ability.
For those of you who have been or are ill, we wish you a speedy recovery.
Our club is situated at the Plumstead Bowling Club, and, as soon as we can, we
will let you know the date of our next meeting.
Remember, your committee will always be there for you.
