I would like to use your newspaper to warn pedestrians using Cannon Street in Plumstead, to be on the lookout for passengers on slow-moving trains that may throw rocks, or other objects at them.
On Friday September 23, at about 5pm, my son was walking home along Cannon Street, and at the intersection of Cannon and Barnet streets, he was pelted with large stones by three men who were hanging out of the door of a slow-moving train.
The train was going in the direction of Steurhof station. Fortunately, they missed him, but he was very shocked.
