Cape Community Newspapers, which publishes Constantiaberg Bulletin held a Christmas party for the children at Jabulani Educare in Westlake on Friday December 9. The newspaper also visited two other creches in Joe Slovo and Mitchell’s Plain. The children were entertained by the Weekend Argus Jellybean Journal mascot, had their face painted and received gifts from Father Christmas. Principal at Jabulani Educare, Cynthia Isaacs, said the children enjoyed the party and thanked the Bulletin for hosting the party. “It was fun exciting and very stimulating for the kids. Father Christmas and his team was the cherry on top. The children enjoyed the hot dogs and the bonus was their presents. Many of these kids don’t receive gifts so it was very special,” she said.
