Wynberg Girls’ Schools in collaboration with the Wynberg Girls’ past pupils will launch the 2018 Wool for Wonders campaign tomorrow Friday April 20.
Drop off balls of double knitting wool and any knitted items at Wynberg Girls’ High School or Wynberg Girls’ Junior School.
The items will be donated throughout winter as they build up and will go to various charities, which in the past have included Little Angels, Heaven’s Nest, Baby Safe/Hope for Babies, St Anne’s Home, Friends of Red Cross,
Nazareth House, Mowbray
Maternity Home, Tinmugs Africa Trust and Bay Christian Family Church.
You may knit anything. However, should you prefer to knit a previous year’s jersey pattern contact hmills@wynghs.co.za
The schools also have lots of squares to be knitted together into blankets.
