Crosscurrent at the brewery

Indie folk band Crosscurrent rocked Diep River last Friday, February 17 when they played a gig at a local brewery. The four band members know each other from the Wynberg Boys’ High School jazz band. Two members, Milo Hill Williams and Owen Franke are in Grade 12 and 11, while David Franke – brother of Owen – and Paul Botes are past pupils (“Young musos release first single”, Bulletin October 6, 2016). Crosscurrent will perform at Oven Baked in Muizenberg on Saturday February 25, from 6pm to 9pm; at Hout Bay Market on Thursday March 2, from 1pm to 3pm; and at Green Pop Family Fest at Platbos Forest near Gaansbaai from March 10 to 12.
