Barbara Bruyns, Welcome Glen
On Saturday a group of eight lady friends went to lunch to the Cape Town Fish Market in Steenberg, where one of our friends collapsed and was unconscious.
The operator, Jaco du Plessis, of Cape Town Fish Market, went beyond the call of duty when he called the emergency services for an ambulance and went and waited outside for them.
The waiters were also extremely helpful and helped move tables to make way for the stretcher.
Once our friend was taken to hospital, a group of young people at the adjacent table bought all the ladies a cup of coffee.
The kindness of everyone really warmed our hearts and we commend Cape Town Fish Market not only for their excellent food but their friendliness and helpfulness as well.
