Springfield Convent School recently completed work on their new sports’ pavilion. The school’s spokeswoman, Penny Boock, said they had been saving for five years with funds used from their building levy. The building, on the upper campus opens onto the school’s astroturf which was installed in 2015. Sheltered beneath tall pine trees, the surrounding landscaping and seating was recently completed as well as interior furnishings and fittings. Apart from changing rooms and showers the pavilion will be used for socials and parent teacher association meetings.
