On Sunday January 22, between 8.30pm and 9pm, a tragic and fatal car accident took place on Constantia Nek Road towards Hout Bay.
Just after the accident happened the young, injured and traumatised driver of the smashed vehicle, saw that my brother Daniel was drastically hurt.
He picked up Daniel’s bloody, broken, badly bruised body, and flagged down a vehicle.
The driver stopped and they placed my brother in the back of the bakkie and the couple then rushed Daniel to Constantiaberg Hospital where they handed him over to the ER staff, then vanished without trace, as if they were angels sent from above.
Tragically Daniel later died and now we, the family, want to find this couple to thank them for unselfishly giving us 24 hours with Daniel before he passed on. Because of their unselfish kindness we all got to say goodbye to this amazing person who in his passing gave life to so many people through his organs being donated.
