John Bailey, Meadowridge
An unfortunate incident happened at Constantia Emporium, on Wednesday June 7, when I fell on the stairs, bashing my head. Blood spurted onto the steps.
I want to thank those who came to my aid: a man, holding his daughter, who kindly used his other arm to walk me to Clicks; others who got wads of paper to stem the flow of blood; the amazing staff of Clicks, reassuring me that an ambulance had been contacted; those mopping the floor around me; the ER24 ambulance team, professional in their preparation before delivering me to the emergency room at Constantiaberg Mediclinic; and a doctor getting my medical aid’s approval for a CT scan and stitching my wound.
A big thank you to all.
